Inflection from initial OpenClaw skill delivery.

Problem

Skills are now tracked under openclaw/skills/ in repo, but OpenClaw runtime expects ~/.openclaw/skills/ on each node.
Manual rsync is fragile and causes version skew between Node0 and Node1.

Proposal

  • Add one script (scripts/sync_openclaw_skills.sh) to sync with checksums
  • Optional --remote mode over tailscale ssh
  • Add post-sync validation command that lists installed skill versions

Acceptance

  • One command syncs local skills deterministically
  • Node0 and Node1 can verify same skill hashes
  • Documented in USAGE.md

Status update (implemented in current working tree):

  • Added scripts/sync_openclaw_skills.sh
  • Supports local deterministic sync + hash output
  • Added remote sync mode via tailscale/ssh host argument
  • Updated docs in openclaw/skills/README.md and USAGE.md

Remaining: optional refinement of remote mode flags to exactly match issue wording (--remote).

  • #19 (Multi-node mesh) - need multiple nodes to sync to
  • File system access to ~/.openclaw/skills
  • Repository structure stable

  • Version tagging support
