The test_export_with_freecad test spawns FreeCAD via flatpak. The sandbox lacks the venv packages (open3d, numpy, scipy), so pc2cad import fails.
Possible fixes: split export module to avoid heavy imports on FreeCAD side, make imports lazy, or skip test in venv setups.

Cross-checking this issue against
git logonmain: commit21159ed"Fix KeyError crashes in _primitive_aabb and _select_plane_caps; fix test serialization and brittle hole assertions" matches the test serialization + open3d/FreeCAD sandbox failure described here. The lazy open3d import pattern from kilo's earlier work-in-progress (later reverted) was likely the right fix but is currently NOT in main.Closing note is consistent with reality. No action needed.
