Parent-Issue: #42

Update docs/plans/2026-09-16-triage-aware-runner-phase.md to mark Phase 5 as resolved with the in-bounds shape:

  • children created via Forgejo POST /repos/{owner}/{repo}/issues
  • parent closure via PATCH .../issues/{N} with state=closed
  • kanban complete with summary mentioning the child numbers

Edit the phase status line in that doc and any related sub-sections. Note that Phase 5 was the synthetic test that validated end-to-end triage-aware-runner behavior; the in-bounds shape refers to the decompose disposition: too-large issues get split into N child issues, parent is closed via PATCH, and the kanban card completes with summary.

Out of scope: implementing new behavior, modifying the runner itself, or touching any code outside of docs/plans/.

Plan doc refresh shipped on branch smoke/phase6-child-c-t_8596310e (commit 8185ac4).

Phase 5 marked resolved with the in-bounds shape that was validated end-to-end by the Phase 6 synthetic test on #42:

  • Children created via Forgejo POST /repos/{owner}/{repo}/issues.
  • Parent closure via PATCH /repos/{owner}/{repo}/issues/{N} with state=closed.
  • Kanban card exits via kanban_complete(summary="decomposed: <N> children → #N1, #N2, …").

Doc updates (docs/plans/2026-09-16-triage-aware-runner-phase.md):

  • Phase 5 header renamed to "Decompose disposition (in-bounds shape) — resolved" with body rewritten to describe the shipped behavior, the rationale for not introducing a new verb, the children-routing contract, and the validated verification path (t_c72cb8f2 on Mark/org_mode#42 → children #44/#45/#46).
  • Phase 6 row 3 / Cutover map "Phase 5+" / Files table / Risk #2 / Settled-design Decompose contract / Phase 1 run.sh step / SOUL stance / profile.yaml description all aligned with the in-bounds shape.

Out of scope per task body: no runner code changes, no behavioral changes — doc only.
