Workspace's stitch object list shows object name and color but no position or size — user with 30 objects has no way to tell which is at which (x, y) without selecting each one #302

Finding

src/components/workspace/RightPanel.tsx's ObjectList shows:

  • Object name
  • Color swatch
  • Delete button
  • (Possibly other fields)

But it doesn't show the position (x, y) or the size (width, height) per object.

grep -n 'object.*x\b\|object.*y\b\|object.*position' src/components/workspace/RightPanel.tsx returns 0.

A user with 30 objects:

  • Wants to find the one at (50, 100)
  • Has to click each one, read the right panel
  • Time-consuming

The fix is to show the position/size in the row.

Where

  • ObjectList: src/components/workspace/RightPanel.tsx
  • No position: grep -n 'object.x' src/components/workspace/RightPanel.tsx returns 0
  • The selected object's properties: shown in the right panel when one is selected

Suggested fix shape

  1. UI: add a small text in the object row showing position:
<span className="text-[10px]" style={{ color: '#6B6560' }}>
  ({obj.x.toFixed(0)}, {obj.y.toFixed(0)}) · {obj.width.toFixed(0)}×{obj.height.toFixed(0)}
</span>
  1. Optional: the user can click on the position to edit it (an input field).

  2. Layout: the row's right side has the color swatch, the position, and the delete button.

Severity

Low. The user can click each object. Power users with many objects notice.

  • The right panel's "Object Properties" (when selected) shows position. The row is the bulk-summary version.
  • #270 (open) — Editor's path list node count. Same row; the count is the "complexity" visual.
  • #244 (open) — Editor's path list stitch type icon. Same family.

Shipped at 39f01ab on origin/main. Each row in the right-panel Object List now shows (x, y) · w×h next to the stitch count, e.g. (50, 100) · 25×13, so users with many objects can find the one at (50, 100) without clicking through every row. Both StitchObject and ColorRegion paths covered (both store the values under boundingBox). 23/23 RightPanel tests pass; new tests cover both the stitchObject and colorRegion branches.
