Problem: The project has no tests. There are no unit tests for the floorplan state logic (useFloorplan) or component tests for the canvas and panels.

Files to add/modify:

  • Add Vitest + React Testing Library + jsdom.
  • Create src/hooks/useFloorplan.test.ts covering add/move/resize/delete/duplicate/export.
  • Add a component test for src/components/editor/RoomList.tsx or Toolbar.tsx.
  • Update .forgejo/workflows/ci.yml to run npm test.

Acceptance criteria:

  • npm test runs and passes.
  • CI runs tests on push/PR.

Test suite landed on main in commit 0ea4983 ("Apply changes from kilo-gsd.py run for Mark/kimi_agent_home_assistant#4").

Key commits on this fix:

  • fdf1333 — test: add RoomList component test (#4)
  • 0ea4983 — Apply changes from kilo-gsd.py run for Mark/kimi_agent_home_assistant#4 (adds Vitest + RTL + jsdom tooling, src/hooks/useFloorplan.test.ts covering add/move/resize/delete/duplicate/export, and the npm test step in .forgejo/workflows/ci.yml)

Verify gate was green: npm test ×2, tsc, lint, and vitest all passed locally. Remote origin/main is at 0ea4983 (pushed successfully after the prior Tailscale outage cleared). Closing.
