Right now the proof that this works is in /tmp/whisperx-smoke/ — Steve Jobs transcript, Spanish transcript, Lex Tao transcript, BBB VAD result. They should live in the repo as canonical examples.

What needs building:

  • examples/jobs-stanford.json — short clean English
  • examples/spanish-tedx.json — non-English
  • examples/lex-terence-tao-chunk-001.json — long-form host + guest
  • examples/big-buck-bunny-vad.json — music/no-speech (VAD test)
  • examples/README.md explaining what each one demonstrates and why

Why: every new operator will want reference outputs to compare against. Don't make them run the smoke test themselves.
