Closed: This feature belongs to a different project domain than redlens.
Original request: Request: Distributed agent-based vulnerability scanning for all hosts
Per triage review, this issue is misaligned with redlens's project scope. Please re-file against the appropriate project.
Feature Triage Assessment
Scope: large
Risk: high
Spec Alignment: misaligned
Summary: Wants to add distributed scanning with worker nodes and task sharding so large scopes don't take too long on a single machine.
Recommendation: Close as 'not planned' — this issue was filed against the wrong repository. Redlens is a React SPA starter (React 19, Vite, Tailwind, shadcn/ui); it has zero scanning functionality. If a scanning project exists elsewhere, redirect the issue there.
Rationale: Redlens is a frontend-only React SPA starter template. There is no scanning subsystem, no backend, no task distribution, and no worker infrastructure anywhere in the project. The feature request describes an entirely different application domain. Even if one tried to implement it here, it would be a massive new subsystem (15+ files) with high risk (security-sensitive worker communication), but more importantly it's fundamentally misaligned with the project's purpose.
Labeled
blocked:needs-decision— unblock on Forgejo to dispatch to the fixer pipeline. This issue describes security-scanning features (distributed scanning, vulnerability correlation, report generation) that belong to a vulnerability analysis tool, not a React SPA starter. redlens is explicitly a frontend UI scaffolding project — it has no scanning subsystem, no data pipeline, and no backend. Closing as filed against the wrong repository.
