1. No `.env.example`

.gitignore excludes .env / .env.local / .env.*.local but no .env.example exists to document what env vars the project might need.

2. Missing `public/` directory

README documents app/public/ in the project tree but directory does not exist on disk.

3. Root `README.md` not tracked

git status shows README.md as untracked (not committed).
