Authentication mechanism to access the vault.

  • Set or change vault PIN in Settings
  • PIN entry screen before vault loads
  • Biometric authentication (fingerprint/face) on mobile as alternative to PIN
  • Max PIN attempt limit (e.g., 5 tries then cooldown)
  • Forgot PIN recovery / reset flow (requires app reset of vault data)
  • Auto-lock after configurable idle timeout
  • Lock on app background (switching apps / locking phone)
  • Capacitor native plugin integration for biometrics
